P. Allen Smith, Co-Founder
P. Allen Smith is a passionate designer and entrepreneur whose ventures span media, television, conservation development, land planning, landscape design, and, most recently, the manufacturing of structurally insulated panels. He hosts one of the longest-running and most successful programs on PBS, alongside two additional syndicated shows broadcast on all major U.S. networks and internationally.
Smith is a trustee of Winterthur Museum in the Brandywine Valley, Delaware, and a former board member of the Royal Oak Foundation, the American branch of the British National Trust. He is also a member of the philanthropic Order of St. John. Smith graduated from Hendrix College in Arkansas and attended the University of Manchester School of Architecture.
A sought-after speaker, he presents regularly across the country, is a TEDx speaker, and the author of six best-selling books, with two more forthcoming—one specifically focused on Moss Mountain Farm. In his downtime, Allen enjoys painting, cooking, and tending to his flocks at his cherished Moss Mountain Farm.
